Have a bittersweet announcement this go-round: Greg Humphreys Electric Trio is disbanding as an ongoing pursuit. Our Wednesday, December 6 show at 11th Street Bar will be the last show billed as GHET for the foreseeable future.

The group has been in a holding pattern for the last couple of years, post-pandemic; my old friend and longtime trio bassist Matt Brandau is now a newly-married French citizen, living in Paris, working on new projects. Drummer Keith Robinson, already a busy man, has been getting busier with his hard rock/heavy metal band, Tanith. Our bass man for the last year or so, Brett Bass, is also a very busy musician. As a result, I’ve been playing more often with other rhythm sections and combos.

We’ve discussed, and it’s time to make it official so that we can all focus on what’s next. I’ll continue to perform my music under my own name, but I'll exert more flexibility with the lineup of musicians taking part. The alternate moniker as of late has been Greg Humphreys & Friends. I look forward to more work with the wealth of players in the NY area as well as with my longtime musical collaborators.

Also look forward to reuniting with Matt and Keith again on stage at some point. I’m proud of the work we put into GHET and the catalog of music we built together. I truly appreciate the talent, hard work and experience they brought to the music. It’s been a challenge to try to grow a band in an ever-changing world while at the same time growing a family. Those 10 hour van rides between NYC and the Carolinas weren’t always easy, but we made it fun with laughs and good music.

The trio has had a great run over these last 9 years. Thank you to all of you who have been buying or streaming our music and coming out to our shows. Onward! The good news is we all continue to play. For my part, I will continue my First Wednesdays residency here in NYC at 11th Street Bar with a slightly different approach. I'll perform as Greg Humphreys & Friends and hopefully bringing a twist to every monthly installment, starting on February 7th.

So… please come out this Wednesday, December 6 at 9 PM, 11th Street Bar in the East Village, if you’re a GHET fan. Brett will be on the bass, Keith will be on the drums, and our good friend Rob Bailey will be opening the show at 8 PM with special guests.

More gigs this month: I’ll be back at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic on Sunday, December 17 from 3-6 PM with Nick Sferlazza on the bass guitar and Jake Schott on the drums. I’m enjoying what these young fellas are doing with the material.
I'll be joined by Andy Ware on bass, Eddie Walker on drums, and Dave McCracken on organ. 2 full sets both nights from Hobex and Greensboro supergroup The Finns, with some special jams planned between groups. Can’t wait to see our Hobex fans and celebrate.

Look for that Dillon Fence live release and a new solo release in the new year. Here's a recent 11 Questions interview I did for WUDR's Your Tuesday Afternoon Alternative show about my latest single, Take a Trip (Catch a Plane), recent work, my process, and more.

My family and I will be in NC this holiday season with my mom, who moved back to my hometown Winston-Salem, NC this year. Have a wonderful holiday, folks. Let’s all pray for peace in the new year as well.
What a time we had with The Connells and Surrender Human at Cat's Cradle backyard on Sept 16! Thank you to everyone who came out for this special, sold out show to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Connells’ album “Ring.” A reunion of friends that felt like stepping into a Time Machine. Y’all were amazing. Scott Carle, Chris Goode, Kent Alphin and I appreciate you so much. There are rumblings of another Connells / DF bill before too long, so keep an eye out for that. Check out the live performance review and pics at Concert Addicts – "Aged like a fine wine.” 🍷😄

Still working on finishing up this Dillon Fence live recording… getting closer. Have had people asking about a release date; we're taking our time, but it'll be worth it. We'll keep you posted.

That's it for now. Have an exciting show we're working on for the holiday season... Hobex fans should be pleased. More soon!
EAST VILLAGE NYC – FIRST WEDNESDAYS RESIDENCY

The trio picks up our first-Wednesday-of-the-month residency at 11th Street Bar on Wednesday, September 6! I'll be joined by longtime trio drummer Keith Robinson and bass guitarist Brett Bass. We'll be doing these through the fall... this is the seventh year GHET has done a monthly gig at 11th Street Bar in the heart of NYC's East Village.

I'll also be doing monthly gigs on the North Fork of Long Island this fall at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company's Peconic, NY location. The first one is this Sunday, August 27... I've had a revolving cast of excellent musicians backing me out east on my rock gigs and it's been a lot of fun. See below for specific dates!
Thank you to my mates Danny Champ & Mick Terry for their wonderful songs and generous spirit. As their friend Gary put it: so nourishing. Hope to do it again before too long. Thank you to Jacqui Dove for these pics.
NEW SINGLE "TAKE A TRIP, CATCH A PLANE" AT ALL STREAMING SERVICES HERE
This tune grew from an obsession, as songs sometimes do.

The subject of this obsession was an early ‘50s George Shearing tune called “Lullaby of Birdland” - especially the way the vibes, guitar, and piano play the head/melody together. A tried-and-true jazz device, played exquisitely by great musicians before burning down their solos. One so effective and beautiful in this case that I was inspired to try it with one of my own melodies.

I built the song around a fave go-go-inspired beat / groove that I programmed on an iOS app called Funkbox, which features vintage drum machine samples. The song came to me quickly. I developed it further when I’d play the tune live – first, in pandemic-era solo performance using my looping rig, and later, on the bandstand with fellow musicians.

The lyric emerged from an ennui, and an intuition that a proper getaway might provide a needed reset. It's a kind of lyrical expression that I’m drawn to. Personal, yet universal. Broad strokes. Romantic.

I crafted this version of the tune in my home studio, from tracking to mixing. I had tried a few different approaches to instrumentation; with this one, I landed on spare and guitar-centric, using my trusty Telecaster Thinline for swells and guitar solos and Jaguar Bass for the low end.

I’m interested in a live band recording at some point, but with this recording—as with my 2021 LP Spanish Steps—I wanted to see my original vision through in true auteur fashion, a la Prince, Brian Wilson or Shuggie Otis.

I do believe in a collaborative approach to making music the way you might make a movie, where everyone involved contributes to the creative process and the end result is something you couldn’t have created alone. I also believe that music creation can be approached like a painting or a work of art, where your musicality, your truth and your inspiration can be expressed in total by the art / music that you alone create. My mom is a visual artist, so I come by this honestly. I don’t believe that either approach is intrinsically better, nor do I feel that there is a right or wrong method to make art or music.

I’m not saying that I don’t need any help along the way. I’ve recieved (and continue to receive) crucial support from family, friends and collaborators over the years, including with this recording. In fact, heavily featured on this track is my one-of-a-kind guitar “leslie” speaker cabinet, originally re-built by My Morning Jacket sound engineer Ryan Pickett from the guts of a Fender Vibratone and later re-cabineted by my Hobex bandmate, Andy Ware. One of my all-time choice pieces of gear.

Mastering Engineer Dave McNair put the final touch on the recording with a mastering pass. There is no plan for physical media at present, so your support can best be expressed by streaming, playlisting, and saving the song at your preferred streaming service and following me there. Also, sharing on social media helps. Hope to follow this one up soon with a few more that are on deck. Thank you for listening.

As far as any musical touchstones you might hear, these are some artists that have crossed my mind when I’ve considered where the song might have drawn inspiration (be it conscious or unconscious.)

George Shearing
Bobby Caldwell
D’Angelo
John Schofield
Marvin Gaye
Paul McCartney

The music video is a piece of eye candy that I came up with using Stable Diffusion. I’ve come across some incredible visuals recently that were created that way. I went down a wormhole to figure out how to create one for this song. A lot of searching, then a learning curve, then an experimental process to come up with something that I felt worked. And yes, I did use the art of Vincent Van Gogh as one of my prompts. I'm worried the exponential power and growth of A.I., but I am also fascinated. In this instance, I am taking Gary Kasparov’s advice: “Don’t fear the intelligent machines, work with them.”

Heading back to the North Fork of Long Island to play at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic on Saturday, March 25 from 3 to 6 PM. I'll be joined by Nick Sferlazza and Jake Schott on the rhythm section.

I've been working on some new home recordings, hope to share them with you soon. I'd also like to share an essay that I posted recently on my socials to mark my 10-year anniversary of living in NYC. Hope you enjoy.

10 Years In New York

Ten years ago this month I made the drive from Durham, NC to NYC, my station wagon packed to the brim. That night, I moved into Rubina’s Bank Street apartment during a snowstorm – the start of an adventure.

Ruby says that anything anyone says about New York is probably true on some level, and I agree. The city is all things. The best city in the world, the worst place you can imagine.

Above all, the city is dynamic. Living here through the pandemic showed me just how much. New York forces you to face harsh realities and at the same time encourages you to create your own reality.

Ultimately, NYC has given me a beautiful family—a wife, two children, and a home—something I missed while hurtling through life in a smoke-filled Ford Econoline over the first 25 years of my adult life.

Performing has taken a back seat to family. I still love writing songs, but I do so less often. When I do, they seem to be keepers… songs I need to write. I still play gigs, some are memorable, but these days I’m just as likely to be asleep by 11 and up by 6 AM, cooking eggs-in-a-nest for my kids.

My days of driving hours to play break-even gigs are over, I’m afraid. I’m just glad I have enough sweat equity built up in the Carolinas that music brings me down south to play and visit with friends.

And yet—surrounded by friends old and new at our recent 11th Street Bar trio show in the East Village—I was reminded that as a performer, I‘m still chasing those moments when it all feels right and you know you’re doing what you were meant to do. I still have those moments and so I still believe.

And the talent here… whew. It really forces you to up your game. I have enjoyed this community of professionals who are absolutely in it to PLAY, musicians who can do it all and make it look easy. Being able to do THAT is anything but easy. It takes years of focus and dedication.

Ultimately I don’t know how long our New York adventure will be. As with many who have chosen to live here, we’re taking it day by day, doing our best to make it work unless it doesn’t anymore. But I know I am a New Yorker because I know it’s changed me, challenged me. Beaten me down and lifted me up.

More soon,
Playing a few trio shows in December... GH⚡️ET is in the East Village tonight (Wednesday, December 7) at 11th St. Bar for our last first-Wednesday-of-the-month of 2022! GH⚡️ET – NEW YEARS EVE SOIREE – RED LION INN, STOCKBRIDGE, MA

Speaking of wrapping up 2022, the electric trio wraps the year with a December 31st performance at the historic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA for their ROARING INTO 2023 – NEW YEAR’S SOIREE AT THE LION’S DEN. Keith, Brett and I will go heavy on classic funk n’ soul music for the celebration. Our bud Johnny Irion is now curating the music schedule for the Red Lion and he’ll join us for some tunes as well.

Visit redlioninn.com or call (413) 282-5545 for reservations and book a NYE package to attend. We’re told their cozy Lion’s Den will be hosting the best party for miles: hors d’oeuvres and desserts from Chef Jon Sterrett, an open bar from 8 PM to 1 AM, a bottle of prosecco & truffles upon arrival, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. .

If you're out east this weekend, I'll be in Peconic on Sunday, December 11 at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company from 3 - 6 PM. I'll be playing a trio show with bassist Nick Sferlazza and drummer Joe Campisi.

YEAR IN REVIEW

Thank you all for coming out this year! Thank you to my agent Brad Madison at Mongrel Music for booking the shows and thank you to Rolly Grady Music for repping my music catalog for licensing. Glad to have played some memorable Dillon Fence shows this year with my bandmates Chris Goode, Scott Carle, and Kent Alphin, including the inaugural That Music Festival. Thank you to our good friends Mark Bryan and Johnny Irion for doing a fantastic job playing with us on some of this year's DF dates! If you're looking for a quality holiday gift, please peruse our our Dillon Fence store over at Port Merchandise.

Greg Humphreys Electric Trio got a great live recording of our fall Shakori Festival performance featuring Keith and bassist Matt Brandau from taper Terry Killebrew – check it here on archive.org. Live mix by Ed Griffin. Brett Bass delivered on bass guitar this year for most of our trio dates, now that Matt Brandau is a full-time resident of France. My Hobex bandmate Andy Ware played with the trio on some gigs down south this fall and killed it... Andy and I played our first Hobex show in a few years with Rhett Huffman on keys and Eddie Walker on drums in Greensboro, NC this spring.

Played a lot of solo gigs out east this past summer. I've enjoyed working it out live with my new Cordoba acoustic guitar on new tunes and songs from the catalog. I did write a few songs this year that I'm excited about and I have posted a couple over on my instagram page. Trying to figure out the best path to release new music in the current environment. Hopefully it will come into focus in 2023. Hope you have a happy holiday season and a happy new year!
These will be our first performances together since March, 2020. It'll be fun to play shows on the heels of the appearance of our song "Blood From a Stone" in episode1 season 2 of Netflix's hit series, Outer Banks. Our streaming numbers certainly saw a big spike due to the song's inclusion on the awesome official Outer Banks playlist at Spotify and elsewhere. Thanks again to Josh and Jonas Pate for including us!
Solo performances on Shelter Island in October

Although my family is back in NYC and the kids have started school, I'm playing a few more solo looping gigs out east in October as well! Had such a soul-affirming experience this summer playing around the North Fork of Long Island, both solo and with singer/songwriter Julia King and others. I'll be performing solo amidst the pastoral beauty of Shelter Island's White Oak Wine Garden on Sunday October 3, Saturday October 16, and Sunday October 17, all from 3 to 6 PM.

Steve 'The Doctor' Hill

We lost a great one in August. Thank you, Steve Hill, for the spirit you gave to our band. Steve was the beat for The Veldt, Johnny Quest, our band Hobex and more. Doctor, how many stages did you rock? How many audiences did you leave sweating, chanting for more? Relentless groove, memorable fills, always delivering. We had a wild adventure together. The setbacks you overcame through your life - especially the JQ van wreck - were massive. Andy and I would say that you had nine lives… somehow I thought you might make it. We love you and we appreciate you, Doctor.
More soon,
Hope you're having a great summer! Listen for Greg Humphreys Electric Trio in the second season of the Netflix series Outer Banks, out this Friday, July 30. They are using "Blood From a Stone," a song from our Haymaker album, in one of the scenes. Thanks to Josh Pate and the OBX crew for selecting our music. Happy to be a part of this hit coming-of-age drama.

Newly married GH⚡️ET bass player Matt Brandau is currently residing in France with his bride, but he'll be back in NYC this fall. I'm lucky to have Matt and drummer Keith Robinson join me for dates during that time, including Fall Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance in Pittsboro, NC on 10/9.

GH⚡️ET will also be performing a First Wednesdays residency at our fave spot in the East Village, 11th Street Bar, on 10/6, 11/3, and 12/1. These fall gigs will be the first time the trio has played live since our last gig at the Fox & Crow in Jersey City on March 13, 2020. I'll be warming up the 11th Street Bar First Wednesdays series with a looping rig solo perfomance on 9/1.
Looping rig performance at Shakori 6/1 – recap

Had a terrific time at GrassRoots Live on June 11. Thank you to everyone who attended or tuned in. Thank you Ed Griffin, Selena Hodom, Jordan Puryear, Shakori Hills and Donna the Buffalo for having me. Felt so good to hear a live set from Donna! Here's a taper recording of the set (video dababe44 / audio cap’n hook) over on YouTube... thanks to Donna keyboardist and old friend David McCracken for making me aware of this recording. Hope to share the hi-def webcast version at some point.

I did have some technical difficulties when I was soundchecking my looping rig. I started stressing. I looked over as Jeb Puryear of Donna the Buffalo checked his amp. He wryly looked at me and said, "Computers... they're great when they work, but... " Ain't that the truth, Jeb!

This looping set does feel a bit like a high-wire act with no net. It's a thrill to get out there and go for it, but these solo looping performances have definitely made me appreciate having talented human beings around to catch me if I fall. I do have more looping performances coming up, including 11th Street Bar in NYC on 9/1 and Green Hill Kitchen in Greenport, NY on 9/3.
About Spanish Steps:

Spanish Steps is a collection of songs navigating dreams, marriage and parenthood in New York City.

I’ve been writing and home-recording over the past few years with an evolving setup that I've dubbed my "mad scientist looping rig” – guitars, mics, drum machine, synths, pedalboards, mixer, looper, laptop. You could call this music my version of electro-soul.

The process is similar to what people today call "bedroom pop." That moniker is really a 21st-century description of a songwriting and recording method that I’ve been using since I got my first four-track tape machine.

I created these songs like I've created so many songs throughout my life: alone with my thoughts and my guitars. Songwriting has long been my lifeline for expressing emotions I can’t always access in everyday life. An emotional release valve, a creative escape hatch. Home-recording has been another dimension of that expression for me. Experimental. Imperfect. Personal.

In my life as a professional musician and songwriter, I’ve usually been a band guy. Sometimes a song doesn’t fit the band or falls by the wayside. Over time, I end up with songs that hang around in my head. I’ve found that once in a while, I just need to put them out there to clear my mental deck for the new.

Also, part of me has long aspired to be a soul auteur à la Shuggie Otis. This release satisfies that desire. Although this group of songs predates the arrival of COVID, the pandemic has been an opportunity to see this album through in auteur fashion.

My wife is a traveler. I joined in not long after we met. Rome was our last trip together before our first child was born; the Spanish Steps were a place where we celebrated our engagement. Two kids later, we’re still on a journey together – even when we’re sheltering in place.
is here!

New solo LP Spanish Steps is now available for download / streaming HERE on bandcamp! Available soon on all streaming services.

"May you live in interesting times," indeed. Our little family is still sequestering in our apartment in the East Village in NYC. We're masked up, social distancing and living day-to-day. I'm making music when I can! Jim just turned seven. Maia is starting to talk.

Upcoming new LP — Spanish Steps

Finishing up a new solo album called Spanish Steps, a collection of tunes I've written over the past few years. You might recognize some tunes from clips I've posted on my social media pages—I've been using my looping rig, drum machines, and synth sounds (in addition to my usual guitar and vocal work) to create some personal recordings that land somewhere outside of my usual rock n' roll / funk n' soul band context. Call it my version of Electro-Soul. I'm looking forward to getting these tunes out of my head and into your ears. I've also got another, newer batch of tunes coming up behind these — I'm clearing the deck for something new. More on Spanish Steps soon!

GH LIVE Ep. 7 — Saturday, January 30, 8 PM EST

I've been finetuning my looping rig and webcasting setup for these live performances. It's been an ongoing technological adventure. Feel like I've got it looking and sounding good enough to give it another go.

I'll be doing some newer tunes on the looping rig and then I'll take some requests on acoustic. Please tune in at my Facebook personal page here. It's a free performance, but gratuities are much appreciated ( PayPal: ghumphreys@hobex.com and Venmo: @Greg-Humphreys .) The show will be archived at the link above if you can't catch it on Saturday night. Your support through this last year via these online performances has been incredibly generous and very helpful to our family. Thank you.

It's been a while. Muddling our way through 2020 as best we can. Reacclimating to the city this week after some much-needed time upstate with my family this summer.

Our fall Greg Humphreys Electric Trio dates, rescheduled from the spring, have now been canceled. The folks at my booking agency, Mongrel Music, tell me that live music events as we knew them are not likely to come back until summer 2021, if then. If you’d like to do something to help our corner of the music industry survive this pandemic, please visit NITO Live and click TAKE ACTION to send a message to your representatives supporting the #RESTART act and the #saveourstages act.

Until then, please enjoy these social media offerings (FB, YouTube, Insta) I’ve shared over the past few months.

GHET (myself, Matt Brandau, Keith Robinson) have posted a series of online collaborations we call #remoterecordings, and we might do more. Really interesting process making these, where the individual bandmembers record and video their own parts live and Keith edits and mixes it all together.

Greg Humphreys Live – webcast series

I've been experimenting with webcasting solo live performances as well. It's been an ongoing technological challenge and a real learning experience; you get used to something unexpected happening. I wear a lot of hats trying to make these solo webcasts look and sound good, and it kept me engaged and playing during my family's three months of quarantine in our NY apartment.

Used my mad-scientist looping rig to build full tracks live on the first five episodes; tried some new tunes on Ep. 1 and visited many Dillon Fence, Hobex, and GHET tunes on subsequent episodes. Did my best to keep the setlists eclectic and interesting – I tried not to repeat a lot of songs, but I did try to play all requests and favorites at least once. If you’re interested in hearing any songs on future performances, let me know - your requests help make the next setlist!

"Pop-up on The Porch" was the most recent live webcast – a surprise solo acoustic performance in July from a house in the Catskills owned by my friends Mikey and Melanie, who had invited me to perform. Less preparation, more fave covers and audience requests on this one.

Hope to go live again soon. *Thank you* to everyone who has been supporting these live webcasts. Your contributions have been a balm to our family through this time.
Greetings from New York City. Challenging times here, dealing with shocking losses and seismic changes. Trying to stay positive, although sometimes it’s difficult. In the midst of this surreal uncertainty, we try to make good music and art that we can share.

In that spirit, we’re introducing a new series from Greg Humphreys Electric Trio, #remoterecords. Matt Brandau, Keith Robinson and I collaborate on remote recordings—We each record and video our own live performances at our home studios. Keith mixes the recording and edits the video. Our first installment is “You’re The One For Me.” We'll be sharing on FB and IG... check it out above.

Look for our second episode soon. Like so many musicians, we’re doing what we can to make the best of the situation. If you’d like to tip the band, you can do so below - please mention Electric Trio. Thank you for listening and sharing. #remoterecords
Dillon Fence had quite a night at Lincoln Theatre on December 20. Sold out show, amazing crowd. You lifted us up. Kent Alphin, Scott Carle, Chris Goode and I would like to THANK YOU all for coming. Big thanks to The Lincoln, Band Together, John Fields, Balsa Gliders, and Alex Lawhon for bringing it. The following night with Dillon Fence and Blue Dogs at Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte was also spectacular; here's hoping that we'll get some more DF shows together before too long. We have a great live recording of the Raleigh show — hope to share it with y'all at some point.
Speaking of Blue Dogs, it was a treat to be one of their musical guests at their annual Homecoming show held at Charleston Music Hall. Got to play and hang with their extra-large band of ace musicians and rip it up with the master, Jerry Douglas! Alison Krauss showed up and sang a beautiful song — backed by Jerry and members of the Cox family — and brought the house down. Kudos to Bobby Houck and the Blue Dogs family, Rob Lamble and Ear for Music, and everyone who attended for throwing a hell of a party and raising $70,000 for MUSC CHildren's Hospital. Thanks for having me.
#TAKEATRIP LIVE VIDEO SERIES

I've enjoyed a long family trip through the EU this fall with my wife and kids. (I did sneak in solo sets at The Green Note in London with Mick Terry, La Loca in Prague with Mario Percudani and Black Tiger, and Beer Tales in Athens). I brought a portable looping / recording rig along to get some work done and do some experimenting while traveling; I've been posting some live video recordings / performances of new tunes along the way, using this setup. I've dubbed it the #takeatrip series... have a listen here at my IG page or over at FB.
LIVE GHET VIDEO

My GHET bandmates have been busy while I've been gone – drummer Keith Robinson just completed an EU tour with metal band Tanith, and bassist Matt Brandau is currently on the road doing some West Coast dates with Brazilian Girls. Check out some live video from our LOCKN' Festival performance below. Also, check out a couple of tunes from our Be Loud 19 Performance here. GHET has a few irons in the fire for 2020. More soon!
HOOTIE @ MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

Scratch a big one off the bucket list; got to perform “Hold My Hand” with Hootie and the Blowfish at Madison Square Garden on August 11, the second night of their two-night stand there. Thanks to Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Jim Sonefeld, Dean Felber, Gary Greene, Garry Murray, Peter Holsapple, and the whole organization for your incredible generosity in getting your old friend up on stage for a huge thrill.

I’ve been seeing these guys since we started trading shows around the Carolinas in the early 90s; I can say without reservation that they deserve every success they’ve had and will continue to have. They’ve proven yourselves to be one of the classic American bands, with a stack of timeless songs and one of the best singers of our generation.

Above all, They’ve proven yourselves to be great people who show us what it means to come together, step up and deliver. We need more of that in the world these days. ♥️ Thanks to Alex Curran for capturing the moment!
NEW BABY,
EU SOLO DATES

Ruby, Jim and I have a new family member! Welcome to our beautiful daughter, Maia Grace Juliet, 2 months old, born at home at the end of May! My wife has decided not to return her job of 10+ years, and our NYC apartment lease is up at the end of August, so we've decided to take an epic family trip this fall with the kids through the EU and beyond before Jim starts 1st grade next year.

I'm booking a handful of EU solo dates during our travels. We have already announced a London date – I'll be sharing a bill with my good friend Mick Terry at the Green Note in Camden on August 28! Tickets here. I'll be trying out a traveling version of my looping rig at these EU shows. I've posted a few tunes in this style on IGTV and FB, if you'd like to see what it's all about.
NEW GH SINGLE –– YOU'RE THE ONE FOR ME

My bandmates in GHET have been busier lately – Keith Robinson's awesome hard rock band Tanith is releasing their Metal Blade Records debut on 5/24 and Matt Brandau has been honing his super-funky upcoming solo debut, #makeout – so I've been working on a side-release or two of my own this year. Here's a new single called You're The One For Me, a live-in-the-studio performance that I recorded and videotaped with buds Jason Ewald on drums and Brian Tate on bass. The tune is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play, and Tidal, if you dig and would like to add to your playlists. Mastered by Oscar Zambrano at Zampol Productions. Posted the live vid over at FB and YouTube (below.) Enjoy!
