Lucky Guy tour starts this week!

Vinyl test pressings for Lucky Guy arrive this week and our summer tour starts this weekend! Exciting time here at HQ.

Just a little over a month left in our PledgeMusic campaign and we’re getting closer every week to our goal. I can’t thank you pledgers enough for your help in getting us there.

If you're still thinking of pre-ordering or pledging, now would be a great time to jump in!

Pre-order and pledge here — vinyl, CDs and some cool exclusives are all still available, and you can sample the first track.

Every pledger gets a digital download of the album. Pledgers also recieve updates with download access to exclusive tracks. So far, we've offered up some unreleased new songs ("Place De La Republique," "Meant To Last," "My Dolphin") as well as some new versions of older songs ("Must Be The Moon," "Union Grove"). It's been fun.

Here are the tourdates. Get your tickets early, as many of these club shows will likely sell out. I'm super-excited to play some rock 'n' roll with Keith and Matt and release Lucky Guy into the world. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
More soon,
Greg

LUCKY GUY

Side 2:
So Fucked Up
More Than a Friend
All Because of You
Someday I’ll Have My Due

Song-wise, the Lucky Guy LP tells a story of a happy time in my life. I met an amazing woman, moved to NYC, had a son, got married. This album is also a manifestation of our trio's musical relationship. These are tunes we've worked out over two years of playing together. The second track "Crosstown," a co-write between myself and our talented bassist Matt Brandau, is really the musical collaboration that led to the forming of our Electric Trio with drummer Keith Robinson.

We recorded the basic tracks at Overdub Lane in Durham NC with my old friend John Plymale. We crafted the recording further at Keith's Brooklyn studio. Erik Deutsch played some fantastic B3 organ and electric piano for us over at Grand Street Recording. Keith mixed, Greg Calbi mastered. A lot of love and care was put into this recording! We hope you enjoy it. Available June 14 on vinyl, CD, and digital. Pre-order here.
